Straight answers

Whole-house gut-out FAQs

Do you work with investors and flippers on demo-only?

Yes. Gut-out-only for investors is a core part of what we do — we strip it clean and fast so your crew can get to work. If you want us to rebuild instead, we do that too.

Does the house need to be vacant?

A full gut is best done vacant for safety and speed. We'll talk through the situation at the walkthrough.

How long does a whole-house gut take?

Depends on square footage, age, and scope — typically one to a few weeks for the strip-out. You'll get a real timeline after we walk it.

Can you make structural changes — open up the floor plan?

Yes, done properly: we confirm what's load-bearing, get engineering, and install beams to carry the load. We don't guess on structure.

What about asbestos and lead in an older Detroit-area home?

Common in older homes. If we suspect it, we get proper testing before disturbing anything — no exceptions.

Do you haul everything, or do I rent dumpsters?

Debris removal is included — we stage dumpsters/trailers and keep the site clear as we go.
