◆ Flooring Removal · Oakland County, MI

Old floors up,
down to a clean subfloor.

Carpet, tile, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl pulled up and hauled across Oakland County and Metro Detroit. We take it down to a sound, level subfloor — removal only, or tear-out for the new floor we install.

Option A

Removal only

We pull the old flooring, tack strips, thinset and all, load it, and haul it away — leaving a clean subfloor ready for your installer.

Option B

Remove + new floor

One contractor to tear out the old and put in the new — carpet, LVP, tile, or hardwood. Ask us about the full floor.

Flooring removal FAQs

Do you pull up the tack strips and staples too?

Yes — carpet, pad, tack strips, and staples all come up, so your subfloor is truly ready for new flooring, not half-cleared.

Can you get up glued-down tile, hardwood, or vinyl?

Yes — thinset-set ceramic and stone tile, glued or nailed hardwood, laminate, and sheet vinyl all included. We take it down to a sound subfloor.

Do you fix the subfloor after the old floor is up?

If we find soft or water-damaged subfloor once the old flooring is off, we show you and make it sound before new flooring goes down.

What does flooring removal cost?

It depends on the square footage, the floor type, and how it's fastened down. We give you a clear number after a quick look.

Do you control the dust?

Yes — tile and thinset removal especially. We seal off the work zone and manage airflow so dust stays out of the rest of the house.

Can you install the new floor after?

We can carry it into the remodel or hand a clean, level subfloor to your installer — one contractor from tear-out through the finished floor if you want it.
